What is the best time for a Rajasthan heritage tour?

October to March is the best time, with pleasant weather for forts, palaces and desert evenings. April to June is very hot, especially in Jaisalmer and Jodhpur, and July to September is monsoon. The Jaisalmer Desert Festival is usually held in February, so book early for those dates.
